Becker Luxury Armored Transportation

Becker Automotive Design has provided armored vehicles to high-ranking government officials, top business executives and select family offices for over 25 years.

Our ballistic design manager has served as lead engineer at General Motors Specialty Vehicle Activities department, designing and implementing armor packages for the top levels of the United States government. We are approved by Daimler as a Master Upfitter for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van conversions and incorporate General Motors Best Practices in all of our GM SUV conversions. All of our vehicle modifications are designed to meet or exceed US Federal Safety Standards.

Becker suspension modifications have been engineered in collaboration with a US Government approved chassis development company.

These suspension upgrades have been validated for safety using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure they achieve their goals without adversely affecting any other components on the vehicle. When completed, we ship our vehicles to all points in the US, as well as to many other countries throughout the world. Our expertise, support, reputation and integrity are of the highest level.

Level B3 Enhanced Protection

For GM SUVs, (Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali XL and Cadillac ESVs) and Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans; Becker B3 Enhanced ballistic protection is designed to protect passengers from street violence, up to and including threats from .357 magnum handguns.

This level of protection includes ballistic glass and extensive use of Flexible aramid panels (similar to Kevlar) in strategic areas throughout the interior.

This level of protection may or may not include floor protection or roof protection, depending upon risk assessment. Please know that this Enhanced level of protection is designed to protect against random street violence, not targeted threats.

We refer to this level of protection as “Enhanced” because although it covers the majority of the interior surface area, it leaves some vulnerability, including the firewall, and edges around rear cargo hatch, front and rear doors, windshield, and quarter glass.

Level B3 Protection

(Full Becker B3 level ballistic protection is also available.)

  • Protects against: .38 Special, 9mm, .40 Caliber, .45 ACP, .357 Magnum. 
  • Cadillac Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon XL

  • Protects against: .38 Special, 9mm, .40 Caliber, .45 ACP, .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum
  • Cadillac Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon XL
  • B4+ Adds protection against  7.62×39 (AK-47)
B4 Protection

Level B6 Protection

  • Protects against: 7.62×39 M43 SC (AK47), 5.56×45 SS109 / M855 (M16), 7.62×51 M80 Ball (.308)
  • 2 DM51 hand grenades, DM31 anti-personnel mine
  • Engine Supercharger optional: +150 HP & +100 ft-lbs torque
